A hands-on pruning workshop will be at 2 p.m. April 28 at Schmitt Elementary School, 2675 California St., sponsored by the South Central Indiana Master Gardener Association.
The free workshop will provide tips on pruning young trees, when and how to prune, tools, safety and resources for further learning.
Those attending are asked to bring gloves and pruning tools, and to dress for the weather. Severe weather may cause the event to be canceled.
