Theater group performing postwar drama ‘All My Sons’

Jackson County Community Theatre will complete its 2017-18 season with the Arthur Miller postwar drama “All My Sons.”

Shows are 7:30 p.m. April 27 and 28, and May 4 and 5 at the theater, 121 W. Walnut St., Brownstown.

“All My Sons” was written in 1947 and won the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best Play. It visits the Keller and Deever families as they are healing from their families’ wounds of WWII.

Jeremy Hendrix is directing this show. John Rohlfing and Jana Kaye Peters portray the elder Kellers, Joe and Kate; Paul Keller plays their son Chris. Michelle Elkins and Pete Law portray siblings Ann and George Deever. Neighbors Jim and Sue Bayless (Shane Crouch and Elyse McGill), Frank and Lydia Lubey (Jeremy Kinnett and Rachel Franke), and young Bert (Mason Williams) round out the cast.

Patrons should be aware that a few strong words will be used in moments of intense emotion during the play.

Tickets for “All My Sons” may be purchased online at jcct.org, or in person at Family Drug in Brownstown or Artistic Impressions Framing in Seymour.
