The girls track and field postseason begins on Tuesday with sectional action at 32 sites. Four of those will include area teams.
The top three individuals and anyone meeting the state-standard time or distance automatically qualify for next week’s regional round. Beyond those 12 qualifiers from four feeder sectionals into each regional, the next-best performances from the feeder sectionals will be added to reach a field of 16 in each event.
