Columbus Redevelopment Commission has approved providing $1 million to help renovate a former newspaper building that will be the new home for Indiana University’s master of architecture program.
The commission voted unanimously to allocate $1 million in tax increment financing dollars to the project, half the amount that is expected to be needed for upgrades to the former Republic building in downtown Columbus.
