LOS ALAMOS, NM
Jason David Zurbrugg, 39, of Los Alamos, New Mexico, formerly of Columbus, passed unexpectedly on May 29, 2018.
Jason was a graduate of Columbus East High School.
He enjoyed horticulture and was a landscaper. He also loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Zurbrugg; and an infant son.
Survivors include his loving father and stepmother, David and Pam Zurbrugg of Columbus; wife, Beckie Zurbrugg of Los Alamos, New Mexico; sons, Gage and Dalton Zurbrugg of Los Alamos; stepdaughters, Brianne Johnston, Alyssa Johnston and Sarai Johnston, all of Los Alamos, New Mexico; sisters, Amanda (Andrew) Hull of Columbus and Kimberly Watts and fiance, Craig, of Columbus, and stepsisters Christal (Ben) Downing of Columbus and Angela (Jesus) Malagon of Columbus. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Myers-Reed Chapel. Terry Branum will act as celebrant.
His cremated remains will be interred at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Columbus.
