Stanley R. Wilson died May 30, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by wife, Carol Swallow-Wilson; daughter, Stephanie Wilson; granddaughter, Brynn Wilson; parents, Russell and Ellen of Columbus; sisters, Sheila (Jon) Carr and Sandie (Tim) Goodwin; niece, Wendy (Aaron) Joslin; great-nephew Alex Josln; and many dear friends.

Stan was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam with Co D 69th Engr BN.

Stan’s life long passion was building street rods and repairing cars. If it had an engine and wheels, he loved it!

His honesty and integrity was evident in the way he cared about his customers for 40 years at C&W Automotive.

A celebration of Stan’s life will be held June 10, 2-7 p.m., at the American Legion Post 24, 2515 25th St., Columbus.
