A junior birder program for children in Grades 3 and 4 will is 9 a.m. to noon July 10 and 12 at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 U.S. 50 East near Seymour.
The class will involve learning activities covering the basics of birdwatching along with refuge field trips to practice birding skills.
The free program will take place at the Refuge Visitor Center. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
