COLUMBUS
Deborah A. Seeley, 64, of Columbus, passed away at 7:58 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
She was born March 18, 1954, in Fairfax, Virginia, the daughter of Karl and Ann Jones Spiess, Sr.
Debbie worked at United Way where she was the 2-1-1 crisis hotline specialist for several years. She was very active in both the community and The Crossing Church. Debbie was an incredible spades player and loved to laugh. She was a fan of music, enjoyed attending concerts and loved to sing. She never met a stranger and will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Clover Johnson of Scottsburg, Misty (Emily Thomas) Brady of Summerville, SC, Josh Seeley of Columbus, Becca Cook of Hartford City; grandchildren, Jerry, Joey, Cassidy, Trinity, A.J., Christine; brother, Karl (Nancy) Spiess, Jr., nephew, Karl (Ashley) Spiess II, both of Manassas, VA; niece, Christina (John) Byrd of Macon, NC, and great-niece, Aubry Spiess.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at The Crossing Church at a later date.
