JENNINGS COUNTY — A search for a Madison man wanted on a warrant in Jennings county has ended after he was found dead inside a residence in the Paris Crossing area.
Jennings County Sheriff deputies were looking for Joseph Guadagnoli, 26, Madison since the early morning hours of Tuesday when they attempted to serve a parole violation warrant, said Lt. Mike Mowery, sheriff department spokesman.
Deputy Kyle Lee was in the Paris Crossing area when he observed an open door at a home which had been previously noted as closed. Deputies found a back door to the home had been forced open, Mowery said.
When searching the home, they found Guadagnoli dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Mowery said. No one else was in the home when Guadagnoli was found, Mowery said.
