The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its next showcase of community leaders with the Leaders & Lagers program.
Tracy Souza, president and chief executive officer for the Heritage Fund — The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County, will be the featured speaker from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at Upland Pump House, 148 Lindsey St.
Souza has been leading the Heritage Fund since 2011 after her retirement from Cummins, Inc. She also leads the Envision Columbus effort, a community-based strategic downtown development plan.
Leaders & Lagers is a chamber program, in partnership with local chamber member breweries. There is no cost to attend and a cash bar will be provided by Upland Pump House. Registration is not required, but strongly suggested, and may be done at columbusareachamber.com.
