A driver and passenger were arrested at the I-65 southbound rest park near Columbus after a Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department deputy observed their vehicle driving erratically.
Sgt. Kris Weisner was traveling southbound on I-65 at 11:35 p.m. Sunday and stopped the vehicle at the rest park, deputies said.
K9 Bolt alerted to narcotics inside the vehicle, deputies said. Weisner and Deputy Nate Nichols found about four grams of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia, deputies said.
The driver, identified as Aaron D. Osborne, 45, of Monrovia, was arrested on preliminary charges of an out-of-county warrant, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, deputies said.

He was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail with no bond.
A passenger, David M. Riley, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, deputies said. He was being held in jail in lieu of $63,500 bond, jail officials said.
