COLUMBUS
Kimberly Tina Spaulding, 54, of West Ridge Drive, died at 11:17 a.m. August 13, 2018, at her home.
Kimberly was born October 4, 1963, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Taylor Jackson and Wilma Dean Collins. She married Darren Spaulding October 18, 1986.
She enjoyed karaoke contests, decorating her house and watching reality crime shows on TV. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be from 11a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to help cover final expenses through the funeral home.
Survivors include her mother, Wilma Dean Burdine of Columbus; husband, Darren Spaulding; sons, Darrick D. (Samantha) Spaulding of Columbus and Brad Abernathy of Indiana; sisters, Angela D. (Kenneth) Willey of Columbus, Pamela (James) Slinker of Seymour and Sheila (Randy) Hampton of Hope; grandchildren, Taylor, Payson and Jasper Spaulding; nieces and nephews, Shawn (Trish) Brown, Shane Brown, Jamie (John) Lewis, Jarred Slinker, Luke (Sarah) Willey, Melissa Hampton and Cory Hampton; and several great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Taylor Collins.
