The Bartholomew County-based Tau chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, a professional international honor society of women educators, has announced information for its September and October meetings. The chapter will meet:
4 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Harrison Room at Parkside Elementary School, 1400 Parkside Drive, Columbus. Attendees should park in the east parking lot. Members Brenda Main, Donna Fleming, Julie Anthers and Nancy Welsch present the program, “Quilting.” Members and visitors are encouraged to bring a quilt and its brief history. Hostess committees: Membership & World Fellowship.
4 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the cafeteria at Central Middle School, 725 Seventh St., Columbus. The chapter will present “Intercambio” by Denise ReCarte, a program that describes an education plan for those new to the area and non-English speaking adults. Hostess committees: Communication and Calling.
Guests are welcome at the club meetings.
