• Ted Rutan for being inducted into the DePauw Hall of Fame.

• the city garage for its prompt filling of the pothole on 13th Street.

• Ray Gibson for his letter to the editor for recognizing a cartoon for what it was, anti-American.

• all involved in getting the young boy a new toy police car.

• anybody that was involved in getting that little boy a brand new police car.

• The bagger at Kroger for being so friendly and having such a nice smile.

• President Trump for making America great again.

Onions to …

• Republicans for their lawsuit to strip away protections for pre-existing health conditions for all Americans.

• the complainers who don’t understand that for proper bonding you have to patch a road before you repave the entire road at a later date.

• the people who think that if the current administration gets back in we won’t have democracy, because they’ve got it backwards.

• a restaurant for having improperly staffed their restaurant, making customers wait up to an hour for food.

• people who don’t realize that cartoons are for laughter and when we read them we should just chuckle and move on.

• the letter writer who needs to back off and let the mayor do his job.

• the shopping center with the tall grasses, because it makes it impossible to see when driving and it’s a hazard to the community.
