Suicide Prevention Walk Sunday at Columbus East

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is holdings its annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Sunday.

Organizers of the Columbus event are hoping to raise $17,500, and were just over half way toward that goal as of Friday morning with $9,115 raised.

The event originally had been planned for Mill Race Park, but it has been moved to the gymnasium at Columbus East High School, 230 S. Marr Road.

It starts at noon Sunday.

People are encouraged to register and/or donate online. Visit afsp.org/ColumbusIN
