4:30 p.m. update: I-65’s southbound lanes have reopened, although traffic backups remain an issue, according to Indiana State Police.

Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department is reporting a semi crash in the southbound lanes of I-65 near the 55 mile marker south of Columbus. The southbound lanes are closed there and traffic is being diverted off the interstate at the 58 mile marker.
Indiana State Police are estimated the interstate’s southbound lanes could be closed for three hours.
