Dorel Juvenile Group is hosting a free Child Safety Seat Clinic 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the company’s Fit Station, 2525 State St. in Columbus.
During the clinic, a certified car-seat safety technician will check and make necessary adjustments to each car seat to better protect children in the event of a crash. The technician will also answer questions by parents or caregivers questions about car seat safety.
Car seat inspection stations are offered free of charge with support from federal funds, Indiana’s Automotive Safety Program and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
