The white supremacists had permission from the officials to protest at Emancipation Park in Charlottesville, Virginia. The people who are not thinking like the white supremacists got permission to protest at two other parks. Did the people who were going to the other parks actually go to the other parks? I don’t know.
I know some protesters went to Emancipation Park, where the white supremacists were carrying torches and clubs. Nothing good came from that decision. It was a tragedy.
We need patience, time, insight and empathy to find our peace.
