Women’s engineering organization honoring 3 from Cummins

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Three Cummins Inc. employees will be honored Friday by the Society of Women Engineers at its annual awards program for their contributions to science, technology, engineering and math.

The Columbus residents who will receive the awards are Ana Paula Marimoto, Dynamic Systems and Controls technical leader; Anne McLaren, Cummins technical adviser – reliability engineer; and Paul Sowerby, executive director of Global Technical Operations.

The program recognizes individuals who have proven to be innovators and leaders in their local communities, the STEM community and the future generation of STEM, and who support and help advance women in engineering, Cummins said.
