AZALIA
Todd W. Petro, 49, of Azalia, passed from this life at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home.
Todd was born November 17, 1968 in Columbus, the son of the late Harry W. Petro and Janice D. Crippen of Azalia.
For 11 years, Todd worked at Toyota Manufacturing and he was most recently employed as a detailer at KLM Car & Truck.
Todd had a huge passion for music and he enjoyed being a DJ. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and he enjoyed being outdoors.
Todd had a big heart and was always willing to help others.
Todd is survived by his mother, Janice Crippen of Azalia; his children, Trevor Petro of Columbus and Kayla Petro and her fiance, Jordan Lacefield of Columbus; a granddaughter, Amaya Lacefield of Columbus; a granddaughter who will arrive December 20, Aubrielle Lacefield; brother, Jeff (Renee) Petro of Columbus, sister, Jennifer (Shan) Turner of Glen Allen, Virginia; half-sister, Anna Virginia Petro Bellacqua of Vermont; grandparents, Wayne Crippen of Columbus and Jean Ward of Dugger, Indiana; nieces, Shayla Turner and Lillie Petro, nephews, Samuel Petro, Antonio Fisher and Jalen Turner; his best friend, Lori Turner of Columbus; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Todd was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Paul Huntsman officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5 p.m. until service time Monday.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place following the funeral service. Inurnment will be at Ohio Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the family through the funeral home to help defray expenses.
