Columbus, Indiana, is home to an expert from whom we will all benefit once elected as state representative for District 59. Dale Nowlin is on the national stage as the only high school representative in the nation who was federally appointed to the board to oversee the Nation’s Report Card.
Over 50 percent of the Indiana state budget funds public education. Dale’s opponent supports an education savings plan, which would add significantly to the state budget with no value added towards improving education. It will deplete funding for our public schools. Our kids will suffer as a result of his opponent’s plan. Dale will draw upon his expertise to better influence the direction of our tax dollars to improve the education for Hoosier students.
Dale Nowlin has been an administrator and math teacher at North High School, East High School, Northside Middle School and Central Middle School over his 40-year teaching career. He has taught at IUPUC and is currently an adjunct faculty member of the Indiana University School of Education. He serves on the Ivy Tech Advisory Board. Dale teaches AP calculus and AP statistics. He is ready to bring data-based decision making and his national board experience to the Indiana Statehouse.
We have the good fortune of having an expert ready to hear our voices and represent local Hoosiers. Dale is working hard to make a difference in Indiana. Vote Dale Nowlin for State Representative District 59!
