Martha Brown and Carter Jones of Charlotte, North Carolina were married Oct. 6 at The Morehead Inn in Charlotte, North Carolina, in a ceremony by the retired Rev. Peder Berhdal of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Columbus. A reception followed at the inn.
The bride is formerly of Columbus. She is the daughter of John and Katherine Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina. She is an insurance executive and a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Robert and Traci Jones of Lakeland, Georgia. He works in restaurant management and is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.
The maid of honor was Margaret Brown. Bridesmaids were Charlotte Healy of Washington, D.C. and Sarah Roberts of Atlanta, Georgia.
Ushers were Robert Jones Jr. and Robert Jones II, both of Lakeland, Georgia, and Trey Jones of Moultrie, Georgia. The ring-bearer was Leo Brown.
