The following governmental offices will close Monday in observance of Veterans Day.
Bartholomew County Courthouse, other county offices
Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District office and Bartholomew County/Columbus Recycling Center, 720 S. Mapleton St.
Columbus City Hall
Columbus City Utilities, although anyone with a problem with water or sewer service should call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches are closed.

The Bartholomew County Landfill, 811 E. County Road 450S, will be open regular hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Columbus city trash, recycling, compost and brush collections are running on a normal schedule Monday, as is loose leaf collection. Toters should be out by 7 a.m. Monday.
