Edward “Edro” Michael, 61, of Clifford, passed from this life at 3:06 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home.
Edward was born April 1, 1957 in Columbus, the son of Owen and Bonnie Virgie Bradley Michael.
Mr. Michael retired from Milestone Contractors as a labor foreman after 30 years of service.
After retirement he worked part-time at Kroger.
Eddie attended Ogilville Christian Church and was a member of Laborer’s International Union Local 741.
An outdoor enthusiast, Mr. Michael enjoyed nature, flower gardening, attending sprint car races and spending time with family and friends at the Milestone Lodge.
He married Ann McElroy on November 10, 1990.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years; children, Allen (Kimra) Kelsay of Columbus and Heather (Greg) Mathis of Columbus; grandchildren, Chase Mathis, Connor Mathis, Chance Mathis and Krisalyn Kelsay; sisters, Connie (Jimmy) Hammock of North Vernon and Martha Stanton of Uniontown; and family dogs, Corky, Snoopy, Kobe and Tank.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, Herman Michael.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Zechariah Riggs officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to time of service.
Cremation is planned following the service.
