COLUMBUS
Delores C. Swartwood, 85, of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Delores was born October 18, 1933 in Columbus, the daughter of Harry Lee and Hazel Hall Horn.
She was a member of East Columbus Christian Church.
Delores married Alva “Bud” Swartwood November 11, 1955.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years; and her son, Kenneth Dale Swartwood of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Michael Lee Swartwood who passed, August 5, 2013.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Ron Bridgewater officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. to the time of service.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
