Corporate-style jet crashes in rural Clark County

CLARK COUNTY — Indiana State Police are reporting that a corporate-style jet crashed just before 11:30 a.m. Friday in the area of 2627 Crone Road, near Borden.

The crash occurred in a wooden area and investigators have determined there were no survivors.

Emergency responders arrived at the rural wooded area to find a debris field from the reported crash.

After it was determined there were no survivors, it was secured by police officers. It will remain secured until the National Transportation Safety Board, (NTSB), and Federal Aviation Administration, (FAA), arrive to assume the lead role in the crash investigation, state police said.

The Clark County Airport located in Sellersburg confirmed a flight left their airport at 11:24 a.m. heading for Chicago, with three people on board (including the pilot).
