NORTH VERNON
Rhonda Kay Gibson, 44, of North Vernon, passed from this life Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Gibson was a machine operator with Hoosier Tool & Die.
Rhonda was born May 12, 1974, the daughter of Steve and Carol Heimlich Gibson.
Survivors include her husband, Martin Diaz of North Vernon; children, Racheal (Javier) Sneed-Madrigal of Columbus, Chelsie Deckard of Louisville and Bobby (Casey) Deckard of Seymour; grandchildren, Ashton Sneed, Tymothy Sneed, Julian Madrigal, Gunner Deckard and Xavier Theiman; father, Steve Gibson of Tennessee; mother, Carol Gibson of Alabama; brothers, Danny Gibson of Alabama, Johnny Hilliker of Alabama, Tommy (Debra) Hilliker of Indiana, Jason (Britni) Gibson of Chicago and David (Rachel) Gibson of Alabama; and her step-father, Tom Hilliker of Alabama.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
