COLUMBUS
Walter L. Pardieck, 83, of Columbus, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Walter was born December 6, 1935 to Oscar Pardieck and Alta Hubbard Pardieck. He married Janet Durham on December 24, 1957.
Walter was a marine veteran and retired from Cummins Engine Company after 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and gardening.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Burial will be at Springer Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Bartholomew County Humane Society.
Survivors include his wife Janet; sons, David (Jackie) Pardieck of Columbus, Dan Pardieck of Elizabethtown; daughters, Kristy (Jeffrey) Trimpe, Kathy Key and Kelly (Richard) Runge all of Columbus; 7 grandchildren survive.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Alta; brother, Robert Pardieck and a sister, Mary Ann Pardieck.
