Area students named on college dean’s list
The following students were named to the dean’s list at their respective colleges during the fall semester:
Belmont University: Chase Ballard, Delaney Jackson, Sierra Lax and Emily Sipes, all of Columbus.
University of Evansville: Sydney Anderson and Megan Hashimoto, both of Columbus; and Anna McGriff of North Vernon.
Marietta College: Nolan Wetherald of Columbus.
Resident performs
in Christmas festival
A Columbus resident who attends Wheaton College recently performed in a Christmas festival.
Abigail Beerwart, who attends the private co-educational Christian liberal arts school in Wheaton, Illinois, performed in “Blessed Son of God” and sang soprano II in the women’s chorale.
