City appoints new redevelopment commissioner

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Redevelopment Commission has a new member after John Dorenbusch chose not to be reappointed.

Dorenbusch, who had served on the commission since 2016 as vice president, has been replaced by Kyle Hendricks, marketing and communications coordinator with the United Way of Bartholomew County, city redevelopment director Heather Pope said.

Dorenbusch said he felt it was time to step away and let someone else serve.
