Police add patrols due to vehicle break-ins

Columbus police are reminding residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and make sure their cars are locked and secure.

Extra patrols have been ongoing in Columbus west-side neighborhoods after police have received more than 20 reports of thefts from vehicles int he Wildflower, Shadow Creek and Cross Creek subdivisions.

In each of the cases, the vehicles were left unlocked, police said.
