COLUMBUS
LaVerne E. Forster, 95, of Columbus, passed from this life at 5:10 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
LaVerne was born October 2, 1923 in Columbus, the daughter of Otto and Clara Miller Arnholt.
Mrs. Forster was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
She married Benjamin W. Forster June 15, 1946. He preceded her in death December 29, 1984.
Survivors include her children, Stanton (LeeAnn) Forster of Columbus, Daniel L. Forster of Columbus and Carol (Jim) Daily of Hope; grandchildren, Kristin (Jeff) Sipes of Columbus, Kelsey (Kevin) Julian of Indianapolis, Benjamin (Kristen) Daily of Elizabethtown and Evan (Erica Sterling) Daily of Hope; great-grandchildren, Emily Sipes, Katherine Sipes, Ryan Sipes and Kaylee Julian; and a sister, Lorene Brauer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Roy Arnholt.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Mark Teike officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to time of service.
Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery~Clifty.
