Columbus has approved six street overlay projects to be funded through the state’s matching grant Next Level Roads: Community Crossings Initiative.
Last November, city officials learned that Columbus would receive $1 million from the state for the program with a match of $1 million from the city.
The projects being funded include:
- County Road 400N from U.S. 31 to the city limits
- 13th Street from central Avenue to Michigan Ave., which is an area near the United Way offices and includes the roundabout
- Cessna Drive from Middle Road to Autumn Ridge Drive
- Central Avenue from Laurel Drive to Rocky Ford Road
- Inwood Drive from Barker Drive to Woodside Drive
- Interlake Drive from Barker Drive to Norcross Drive
