Panthers advance to semis
NEW ALBANY — Jennings County moved onto the semifinals of the New Albany Sectional with a 51-46 first-round win against Floyd Central Friday night.
The Panthers (15-8) will play at around 7:30 today against New Albany, a 79-69 winner over Seymour in Friday’s nightcap. Bedford North Lawrence and North Harrison will meet in tonight’s first semifinal, and the final will be Monday.

Columbus Christian falls
MONTGOMERY — Pleasant View Christian jumped out to a 21-9 lead after one quarter and went on to hand Columbus Christian a 68-54 defeat.
Conner Emily led the Crusaders (9-13) with 26 points. Josh Jones added 13.
