Emergency Management lists current river levels

Noon Friday update:

The flood warning has been canceled for Haw Creek near Clifford. At 11:15 a.m. Friday, the stage was at 6.6 feet with flood stage at 12 feet. The creek level is continuing to go down, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management.

The flood warning continues for Bartholomew, Shelby, Decatur and eastern Johnson counties. Cities in the flood warning area include Columbus, Shelbyville, Greenwood, Franklin, Greensburg, Hope, Edinburgh, Flat Rock and Elizabethtown.

Driftwood River

Current: 14.2 ft.

Flood Stage: 11.0 ft.

Crest: 15.1 at 7 p.m. on Saturday (Moderate Flood Level)

Flatrock River

Current: 13.4 ft.

Flood Stage: 11.0 ft.

Crest: 14.4 ft. at 1 a.m. on Saturday (Minor Flood Level)

East Fork White River

Current: 12.08 ft.

Flood Stage: 9.0 ft.

Crest: 13.0 ft. at 7 p.m. today. (Minor Flood Level)

Hawcreek

Current: 13.94 ft.

The National Weather Service did indicate they expect Haw Creek to rise into the minor to moderate flood stage around the 12-14 ft. mark.
