Local woman arrested after altercation at Circle K

A local woman was arrested on multiple charges at the Circle K in Taylorsville after she was accused of engaging into a physical altercation at the cashier’s counter.

Catina Caudill, 28, of 11085 W. Georgetown Road, was arrest4ed at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday on charges of criminal trespass, resisting law enforcement, battery on a public official and disorderly conduct, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies said.

According to the sheriff department, deputies were sent to the Circle K in Taylorsville about a 911 hangup. When they arrived, Caudill was at the cashier’s counter but went behind the counter where a physical altercation began, deputies said. She continued to resist law enforcement as she was placed in a nearby patrol vehicle, deputies said.

She was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $21,000 bond, jail officials said.
