COLUMBUS
Thomas Scott Armstrong, 36, of Columbus, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Scott was born May 28, 1982, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of James Michael Armstrong and Janie S. Land. He worked in the maintenance department at Dolly Madison Bakery for a number of years.
Survivors include his children, Emmett and Rebecca Armstrong; mother, Janie Fields; brothers, James B. (Sarai) Armstrong, Richard D. (fiance, Jennifer Carver) Fields, Jr.; nieces, Angelica Armstrong, McKenzie Fields; nephew, James B. Armstrong, Jr., all of Columbus; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Michael Armstrong and step-father, Richard D. Fields, Sr.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Larry Fields officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be Garland Brook Cemetery.
