Duncan ties for 22nd in Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Tyler Duncan carded a 1-under-par 71 in Sunday’s final round to tie for 22nd at 7-under 280 in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 71, 68 and 70 in his first three rounds.

East graduate leads Grizzlies in defeat

Britney Ballard came off the bench to lead Franklin College with a career-high 18 points Saturday in a 73-65 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference loss at Mount St. Joseph.

Ballard, a freshman from Columbus East, went 6 of 9 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line. She added three rebounds in 23 minutes of action for the Grizzlies (6-16, 4-11).

North graduate leads Eagles past Greyhounds

Imani Guy led Southern Indiana with 13 points and 11 rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot Saturday in a 94-54 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss at Lewis (Illinois).

On Thursday, Guy led the Screaming Eagles (15-7, 8-4) with 14 points and nine rebounds in a 78-43 GLVC win at University of Indianapolis. The sophomore from Columbus North, went 5 of 13 from the field and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line and added an assist and two steals in 18 minutes.
