Bartholomew County Emergency Management said flood warnings are continuing for two area rivers.
They include:
The Driftwood River near Edinburgh. The flood warning continues until late Friday night. At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, the stage was at 8.5 feet, with flood stage at 11 feet. Minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise to 12.9 feet by Thursday morning and fall below flood stage by Friday afternoon.
Flatrock River near Columbus: Flood warning continues until late Thursday night. At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, the stage was 7.2 feet, with flood stage at 11 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage by Wednesday morning and continue to rise to 11.8 feet by late Wednesday night. It will fall below flood stage by Thursday night.
