Athletes of the Week

MALE

Christopher Lee, Columbus North sophomore swimmer

Lee won the 50-yard freestyle, finished second in the 100 backstroke and swam on the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams to qualify for state in all four events and lead the Bull Frogs to the North Sectional title.

His performance last week: “I think that as a team, we really came together. We knew the situation that we were in (being down a possible 40 points because of a disqualification in the 400 freestyle relay). It wasn’t ideal, but we really pushed through and made the best of what we had making up the deficit.”
