Tyler Duncan carded an opening-round 1-under-par 71 Thursday and is tied for 36th in the Puerto Rico Open.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, had a 35 on the front nine and a 36 on the back at Coco Beach Golf and Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
Andres Romero leads the tournament at 6-under 66, one shot ahead of Sepp Straka.
