COLUMBUS
Charles F. Littiken, 80, of Columbus, passed from this life at 12:56 a.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the home of his daughter.
Charles was born May 6, 1938, in Bartholomew County, the son of Harold and Laura June Olmstead Littiken.
Mr. Littiken married, Audrey L. McFarlane January 12, 1958. She preceded him in death April 21, 2006.
Mr. Littiken retired from Stadler Packing Company after 25 years of service and Thompson Rentals after 25 years of service.
An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Littiken enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, camping and spending time with his dog Spot.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Martin E. Wright officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. to time of service.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Franciscan Hospice House.

Survivors include his children, Patricia (William Kimball) Littiken of Columbus and Mike Littiken of North Vernon; and his grandson, William Littiken of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Frank Littiken; twin daughters, Alana and Lana Littiken; brothers, Richard Littiken, Larry Littiken, Darrell Littiken, Ronald Littiken and Harold Littiken Jr.; and his sisters, Wilma Fitzpatrick and Sharon Childers.
