Columbus Regional Health is inviting residents to a talk about the importance of colon cancer screening.
The talk will be from noon to 1 p.m. March 20 at WellConnect in downtown Columbus.
Speakers will be Columbus’ Brad Davis, a married father of four who was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 47, and gastroenterologist Dr. Patrick Barrett, who will discuss the signs and symptoms, the importance of a screening colonoscopy and steps to protect colorectal health.
The talk is free and lunch is provided. Registration is rquired and can be completed at crh.org/events.
