International School of Columbus, a publicly funded, tuition-free charter school opening Aug. 17, received 100 applications by its March 9 deadline, deemed “excellent results” by the school’s board.


The opening of a new pavilion, a car or truck giveaway, fireworks and other changes were added on the 4-H Fair schedule.


The newly reorganized Bartholomew County Humane Society started a “lost and found” service, to help people locate missing pets and find homes for unwanted animals as well as report complaints on animal mistreatment.
