Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge celebrated its 106th birthday.


Columbus Human Rights Commission named Gwendolyn Wiggins, Charles Imel, Robert Stewart and Joseph High to receive the 1994 Dr. William R. Laws Human Rights Award in recognition of their work addressing race relations and police harassment issues in the city.


Early figures in the reassessment being conducted in Bartholomew County indicated that the final tally would show a $150-million increase in total valuation.
