COLUMBUS
Marcia A. Krause 74, of Columbus, passed away at 4:12 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at her home.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arnold Krause.
She was the daughter of Doris and Marcus Orr, born in Akron, OH. on May 21, 1944.
Mrs. Krause was a Real Animal Lover and had many different breeds. But the majority were Basset Hounds. Her favorite was, Roxanne, obtained from a breeder in Ohio, while living in California. She trained Roxanne in Obedience. Roxanne achieved an A.K.C. CDX title. She was ranked #1 Basset Hound Group and #1 All Hound Group for three years. She then started in Agility and attained the 1st A.K.C. Master Agility title. She was also invited to the Second Annual AKC National Agility Championships. Although she did not win, she was a crowd favorite. She retired when we moved to Columbus, Indiana.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
Memorials can be made to Marcia’s favorite charity, the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
