Columbus East swept the singles positions Monday night on its way to a 4-1 win against Bedford North Lawrence.
Kathryn Hodzen beat Moe Ueltsch 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Megna Chari downed Presley Clark 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Louna Prince topped Sarah Gaither 6-1, 7-5 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (8-5). Emie Kiser and Cristina Marco beat Angelica Godsey and Molly Simmerman 6-4, 4-6, (11-9) at No. 2 doubles.
East’s Ayano Nomura and Cathrine Millwood fell to Abby Riley and Abbey Bridges 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Braves edge Bull Dogs
BLOOMINGTON — Sixth-ranked Terre Haute South pulled out a three-set win at No. 1 doubles to claim a 3-2 Conference Indiana win against No. 8 Columbus North.
Ashlie Wilson beat Lauren Rowe 7-6 (2), 6-2 at No. 1 singles for the Bull Dogs (13-2, 2-1). Servane Cloteaux and Tiffany Fu topped Lauren Kirchner and Ariel Manacatsay 6-4, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles.
North’s Eva Chevalier fell to Paige Bennett 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles, and Shweta Srinivasan lost to Lily Yeagley 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Jaline Tay and Ali Bergman fell to Breanna Rogers and Andrea Saylor 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.
Jets nip Saints
HOPE — Hauser won three matches in straight sets to claim a 3-2 win against Indianapolis Lutheran.
Andie Clark beat Elise Miller 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, and Brooke Hopkins downed Alyssa Awrey 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Jets (6-4). Carly Archer and Maddy Archer topped Julia Peterson and Haley Harris 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
Hauser’s Abby Johnson fell to Maddie Awrey 4-6, 6-3, (10-5) at No. 1 singles. Aunaka Wasil and Kaitlynn Everroad lost to Mollie Graham and Jocey Sneed 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.

SEYMOUR — Seymour pulled out three three-set wins to hand Jennings County a 4-1 defeat.
Callie Wilder and Sydney Carson beat Mallory Moore and Kristina Griffin 7-5, 2-6, 7-5 at No. 1doubles for the Panthers (6-3).
Jennings’ Ellie Hearne fell to Sandra Cerino 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Reagan Brown lost to Peyton Levine 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and Hailey Brown fell to Kirby Hill 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Courtney Lykins and Abigail DeCamp lost to Madalyn Baurle and Avery Ragon 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Twisters blank Eagles
NASHVILLE — Oldenburg Academy won all five matches in straight sets in a 5-0 win against Brown County.
Baelyn Koester fell to Kathryn Wilder 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Meg Smith lost to Sarah Price 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Claire Dannelly fell to Alexa Miles 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (1-11).
Brown County’s Olivia Baughman and Cassidy Davis lost to Hanna Herm and Sarah Preston 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Katie Goodwin and Emelie Koseter fell to Claire Hollingsworth and Gigi Breyer 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
BOYS GOLF
East takes second
SEYMOUR — Columbus East finished second in a tri match at Shadowood. New Albany won with a 162 to 177 for the Olympians and 185 for host Seymour.
Kody Reynolds and Adrian Adams each shot 41 to lead East. Cole Schaefer added a 47, and Leyton Erfmeier had a 48.
Spartans defeat Jets
Hauser fell to Southwestern (Shelby) 187-208 at Clifty Creek.
Sam Johnson led the Jets with a 47. Justice Gilliland carded a 49, Ethan Wallace added a 54, Justin Stafford shot 58 and Daniel Taylor had a 64.
Eagles outscore Patriots
NASHVILLE — Parker VanNess won medalist honors with an even-par 36 to lead Brown County to a 179-194 win against Owen Valley at Salt Creek.
Curtis Lookebill carded a 45 for the Eagles. Cooper VanNess added a 46, Peyton Proctor shot 52, Rex Watters had a 59, Wyatt Fox finished with a 65, Paul Kleppe and Seth Oliphant each shot 70 and Kyle Roberson had a 72.
Trinity topples Salem
SEYMOUR — Jacob Keith won medalist honors with a 39 to lead Trinity Lutheran to a 173-224 win against West Washinton at Shadowood.
Mark Shoemaker carded a 43 for the Cougars. Josiah Foster added a 44, Ryland Nierman shot 47, Kade Hill had a 48 and Caleb Williams and Preston Kovener each shot 57.
SOFTBALL
East nets close loss
NEW ALBANY — Columbus East outhit New Albany 11-3, but the Bulldogs claimed a 2-1 Hoosier Hills Conference win.
Kerigan Greathouse went 3 for 3 for the Olympians (4-12, 0-4). Mady Foster went 3 for 4 with a triple.
South Decatur falls
GREENSBURG — Greensburg jumped out to a 7-0 lead after four innings and went on to hand South Decatur a 9-3 defeat.
Karah Biddinger went 2 for 3 for the Cougars (0-10).
BASEBALL
Columbus Christian wins
INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus Christian claimed a 20-17 win at Providence Cristo Rey in a game that was stopped after three innings because of darkness.
Parker Walden went 2 for 2, and Ethan Nickerson went 2 for 4 with three RBIs for the Crusaders (2-6). Drew Robison had three RBIs, and Ayden Campbell added two RBIs.
