Marjorie M. Tully, 82, of Memphis Court, died at 2:47 a.m. May 1, 2019, at Keepsake Village of Columbus.
Marjorie was born January 10, 1937, in Ogilville, the daughter of Marion Bruce and Carrie Olmstead Lane. Her first husband, Robert Max Wilson, preceded her in death November 27, 2004. She then married John R. Tully April 11, 2009, and he survives.
She was a former secretary at Cummins Engine Company and had served as Director of Love Chapel for ten years. She also volunteered for Volunteers in Medicine. Marjorie was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church where she was a youth counselor and was involved in many leadership activities.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Aigner officiating. Calling will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or East Columbus United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John; sons, Bruce Allan (Leticia) Wilson of Miami, Florida, and Trent Andrew Wilson of Effingham, Illinois, and a daughter, Laura Wilson (Stepan) Seset of Muncie; stepson, John C. (Patty) Tully of Lafayette and stepdaughter, Jill (David) Friedersdorf of Columbus; brother, Harold Wayne (Ranena) Lane of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Maya Wilson-Fernandez of Bloomington, Steven Seset of Muncie and Braden Lankford; step-grandchildren, Kristy Conrad, Kim Shewmaker, Kelley Wright, Kara Friedersdorf, Amber Matthews, Trisha Corbin and James Tully; and 17 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Max; and brothers, George Earl Gates, Charles Lane, Chester Lane and Albert Lane and sisters, Dorothy McMillan and Betty Lane.
