Jets sweep Mohawks
HOPE — Hauser pounded out 27 hits in two games in sweeping Waldron 15-3 and 15-5, both in five innings.
Zoee Nading went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Hunter Crain went 2 for 4 with three RBIs, Mykenzie Ault went 2 for 4 and Morgan Bottoms and Kristin Keith each had two RBIs in the opener. Nading and Crain combined on a four-hitter.
In the nightcap, Zoee Artis went 4 for 4 with three RBIs, Ault went 3 for 5, Nading went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs, Crain went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, and Leah Joyce went 2 for 3 with three RBIs for the Jets (10-11, 9-3). Stephanie Meek threw a four-hitter.

HOPE — East Central scored four runs in the top of the fifth to take a 4-3 lead, but Class A No. 5 Hauser answered with four in the bottom of the fifth and went on to post a 7-5 victory.
Trey Johnson and Jackson Paradise each went 2 for 3 for the Jets (17-4). Kameron Lawson had two RBIs.
Grace tops Crusaders
HAMMOND — Columbus Christian ended its season with a 13-1, five-inning loss to Grace Christian in the Calumet Christian Tournament.
The Crusaders (2-9) were limited to two hits.
Panthers edge Warriors
SCOTTSBURG — Jennings County plated a run in the top of the eighth to pull out a 4-3 win at Scottsburg.
Jacob Kirby went 2 for 4 with a double, and Cody Wilson had two RBIs for the Panthers (6-11). Duncan Rowda, Jaydon Vanosdol and Jacob Vogel, who pitched the final two innings to pick up the win, combined on a four-hitter.
Cougars rout Tigers
CROTHERSVILLE — Luke Eden and Joseph Royer combined on a one-hitter to lead South Decatur to a 22-1, five-inning win at Crothersville.
Clayton McNealy went 2 for 2 with a double, and Kelby Shook went 2 for 2 and Riley Peele went 2 for 4 with a triple and four RBIs for the Cougars (6-11). Eden had three RBIs, and Royer added two RBIs.
Lancers fall to Eels
EMINENCE — Eminence scored four times in the first two innings and went on to hand Edinburgh a 6-1 defeat.
Ethan Armel and Evan Goddard had doubles for the Lancers (5-14).

Panthers move to final
GREENSBURG — Jennings County pulled out a 3-2 win against Madison Shawe in the semifinals of the Greensburg Sectional and will play the host Pirates for the title at 10 a.m. today.
Hailey Brown beat Jessica Lopez 7-5, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (11-6). Callie Wilder and Liz Ertel downed Kelly Hesse and Lina Leatherman 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Courtney Lykins and Abigail DeCamp topped Caroline Grote and Kristen Snodgrass 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Jennings’ Ellie Hearne fell to Abigail Hill 3-6, 7-6 (6), 7-5 at No. 1 singles. Reagan Brown lost to Phoebe Grote 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles.
BOYS TRACK
Panthers take second
BEDFORD — Jennings County finished second in the Bedford North Lawrence Sectional with 85 points. The host Stars won with 157.
The Panthers had four sectional champions. Aaron Martin won the discus (149 feet, 8 inches), Carter Leak took the 1,600 meters (4 minutes, 32.25 seconds), Lane Elsner captured the 800 (2:03.84) and Elsner, Alex Hendrix, AJ Seiner and Jason Gasper won the 4×800 relay (8:43.42).
Elsner also finished third in the 1,600 (4:34.08), and Leak was third in the 3,200 (10:03.73) to advance to Thursday’s Bloomington North Regional.
