TELL CITY
Jamona Faye “Jamie” Sweeney, 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Salem, Indiana.
She was born in Tell City on December 7, 1944, daughter of the late James A. and Ona Mae (Bash) Schauberger.
Jamie had a bachelors degree in nursing and retired as a surgical assistant. She loved horses and in her spare time, she raised, trained and showed Tennessee Walkers.
Surviving is her son, Greg Hill (Tracey), Naples, Florida; sister Linda Robertson (Don), Columbus; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Aaron, Natalie and Sean; niece, Jennifer Ryans and a nephew, Tim Robertson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
